Audio Visual aids are devices that helps the teacher to clarify, establish, correlate and co-ordinate accurate concepts, interpretations and appreciations and enable him/her to make learning more concrete and effective, interesting, inspirational, meaningful and vivid.

Audio Visual also stirs the imagination, thinking process and reasoning power of the students and calls for creativity and inventiveness and other higher mental activities on the parts of the students. It also helps the teacher to capture as well sustain the attention and interest of the students in class room. A.V gives the real touch to the learning situation.
